Image-to-PDF converter

Convert a folder of images to PDFs in one pass.

Run this tool

The file is processed on this server and deleted as soon as the response is sent. Nothing is stored, and the result is returned directly to you rather than parked behind a link.

The images
Between 1 and 20 files, each up to 25 MB and 100 MB in total. JPEG, PNG, GIF, BMP, WebP and TIFF — checked by their contents, not their names.

Each image becomes its own one-page PDF, and all of them come back as a single .zip — one batch, all or nothing: if one image cannot be read, the whole submission is refused and the message names which file and why. Without JavaScript the files are converted in the order your file picker lists them.

Page size
Resolution for a page per image
From 20 to 1200. 300 is print quality: a 2550-pixel-wide image at 300 dpi becomes an 8½-inch page. Used only by "A page per image" — the sheet sizes ignore it.
Each PDF is produced exactly as the Image to PDF tool produces it — a JPEG is embedded as it arrives rather than re-encoded, and a photo is turned upright from its EXIF orientation tag.

Frequently asked questions

How does Image-to-PDF converter work on MakeOverPDF?
Convert a folder of images to PDFs in one pass. MakeOverPDF runs TCPDF (GD for GIF, BMP, WebP and TIFF) on the server and returns: One PDF, downloaded immediately.
Is Image-to-PDF converter free and private to use?
Yes. MakeOverPDF requires no user account, watermarks nothing unless you use the watermark tool, and deletes your uploaded document from the private working directory as soon as the request finishes.
What are the file size and page limits for Image-to-PDF converter?
Each image becomes its own one-page PDF, converted exactly as the Image to PDF tool converts it — the same EXIF handling, the same page sizing, the same ceilings — and every PDF comes back inside one .zip archive. The batch is all or nothing: one unreadable image refuses the whole submission, naming which image and why, rather than returning an archive that quietly lacks a file. Formats accepted are JPEG, PNG, GIF, BMP, WebP and TIFF, recognised from the file's own bytes rather than its name. TIFF needs PHP's GD to have been built with TIFF support; where it is missing the file is refused by name instead of becoming an empty page. Page size is your choice, applied to every image: A4 or letter puts each on a standard sheet scaled to fit and centred, while "a page per image" sizes each page from its own image at the resolution you pick.
